Blog reflection
My groups' thinking and learning has grown quite a bit throughout the semester. I think we have all gotten better at talking to one another over blogger. Through my peers responses I have learned to think about other point of views than mine on the same topic. I think that having the discussions over the internet, grounded in text, helped me be able to step back and analyze the discussions and thus be able to absorb the material better more than quickly talking...Sometimes I have trouble thinking on my toes, which I know I need to work on since I am going to be a teacher:) In particular, I think I have gotten better at scaffolding my own learning through Gabe and Rose's posts and comments. I think for the most part Rose, Gabe and I were on the same page and in agreement. We were however able to respectfully disagree with each other when we felt differently about something. I totally agree that being a part of a professional learning community is being able to recognize agreements, disagreements, and logic behind them. I think we have all done a great job talking about the readings, but think we could have improved on our blogs by incoorporating more quotes. Overall, I think I have done a good job and would give myself 9.75/10 because I have always submitted my blogs and only been late on posting a couple of times.
